Phoenix High School

This is a full view of my old Secondary School, the very place I was at just before I came to 'St Charles'. It has many thoughts and feelings in this picture as this is where everything happened in my life. I grew up and lived my life within this school. Had good and bad times but I would class this as my place as its the main place in my life which will always remain with me.

This night time view attracted me to take a photo as it looks different. I love the darkness yet you can still see the area and whats in the photo.

Shepherds Bush

This is my closest station, depending on where i want to go. This saturday i went to Croydon, and had to catch this line in order to get there.
This station is diverse as it travels to many areas and takes you to different places. Its nice especially if you just want to go on a journey.

Faith

Faith is something that I have. My family are in a sense religious but to an extent. Although I'm not a regular church goer I still have the faith of God. This picture has a part of me in it and thats why I decided to take it.

Library

The library is a common place that I attend. Wether its to study or to use the computers I'm in there that's why I decided to take the photo as it shows a part of me. This is the library within the college St Charles.

BasketBall

BasketBall is the origin of this photo. The fact that I used to play basketball makes it seem like a home to me. Seeing this court attracted me to snap this shot as it represents me in a sense of a place I used go to and something I used to do.

Hallway

I would class this picture as spacious. It represents my freedom and space within college. This could be interpreted by the way the shot is empty with no beings inside. The empty hallway attracts me to the picture as it looks intriguing especially the way you want to ind out the purpose of the image.

Westfield

Westfield Shopping Centre. This is my closest shopping centre in Shepherds Bush. Not only is it a place where I go to shop but I've also once worked there. It has many of my favorite stores inside which is why I'm constantly in there and shopping. I consider it to be a close place to me especially as it's more or less like 10 minutes from my house.

College

This picture is significant in my life as it is the base of my life. I spend most of my time here and where most of the stress comes from for example exams. St Charles Sixth Form College.
I would class this as a place to me as not only do I come to learn but I also socialize within the college grounds. What I like about the place as well is how diverse it is. Not only by nationalities but also social groups. It has interpretations of differentiation in my life, which is what I love.

Motorway

Right at the top of the photo, there's an image of the motor way. This picture was taken for those reasons. Its considered to be a place of mine because its where me and my dad drive through a lot. This can be even if were just going to see family, or on a journey out.

BBC

This picture was taken this morning on my way to college. I took it myself on the bus, on the 7 bus journey. If you look at the tall tower, thats in collaboration with the BBC. The BBC building is massive and spreads out throughout the whole of White City/East Acton. It has many different departments within the spaces.

Football pitch

This is a football pitch close to my area. It's located right next to the secondary school 'Burlington Danes'. I pass this place everyday on my journey to college, and if I'm going out on a bus in that direction once again I see it. Sometimes I see a lot of young children playing football rather than older people. I consider it one of my places as It's a part of my routine mostly everyday.

Grove

This is a painting of Ladbroke Grove, the very place I go to for my studies which is college St charles. Grove is memorable to me as well as this is where me and my friends go to for the famous notting hill carnival. its a tradition for us as we go every year. This picture was painted by a student in my college and what caught my eye was the way it looked so realistic as if you were there.

Horoscope

Cancer: Jun 22 - Jul 23

My sign is cancer. I like to read sometimes my daily predictions of life in the metro. Heres one from todays paper.

24th March 2010:
No matter how attractive you find a person, you've got to draw a line if you know they're not really free. A sign such as you is too emotional to put yourself through such a treadmill.

Fountain

Once again in the Old Trafford shopping centre in Manchester. This scenery appealed to me as it was interesting the way the fountain was placed, and where it was also calming, the pattern of the water, the contrast in colours used to decorate the fountain it all showed calmness and serenity which is why i took the photo to share with everyone.

Primary School

Primary school days. Even though I only came for a year this is where I met my best friend. This is one of the main one of ‘my places’, this is because this is where I started out when I first moved to west London. So it was like the making of me.

Home No. 2

This picture shows my second home. For the past six years a part of me has grown up here as well. It kind of represents my freedom as its not a place I'm bound to, but its a choice of where I go.

Road

This is the road I walk down everyday to college. The picture is so basic but it means a lot as this is where I begin my journeys. It has representations of me growing up, this is because I’ve taken this journey from primary school, to secondary school and now college.

Homee

This photo in a sense represents me as a whole. This is because everything starts and ends from here. Its a home to me and throughout all my time of living there its been the best times.

Love Poem

I came across a love poem which caught my attention. it reminded me of many things also the fact that I like poems it meant a lot to me. Here it is:

I love you more than life itself
But I’m afraid to love.
My heart is like the fragile wings
Of a tiny little dove.

I'm scared to get too close.
I feel that I can't win.
You'll love me for a little while
Then you'll set me free again.

I've lived so long on hopes and dreams
I don't know what to do.
I don't think I can trust my heart,
For it belongs to you.

I know you'll only hurt me
Yet, I still keep running back.
Between the paths of our hearts
There's a worn and beaten track.

You've got my heart held on a string.
It’s breaking right in two.
Enough belongs to me -to hurt-
The rest belongs to you.

I know that somewhere in your heart
There is a place for me.
I just don't know how to find it
And there's no way to make you see.

I can only hope that someday
You'll wake up and you'll find,
That while my heart belongs to yours,
Yours, too, belongs to mine.

Spain

The fact that this is a random picture is why I like it. It’s a time where me my dad and sister exploring the area in Spain, and this caught our attention. I love the space in the picture which could represent freedom, also how the mountains are in touch with the clouds over a distance.

Dadd.!

Good times good stuff. Here me and my day went to one 'family party'. Had a fun time could of been better though. I love this picture because it's just me and my dad. It shows our closeness like we have now. This picture in a sense represents my safety especially him being around.

Destination

This is another one of my destinations in life. I live on this road and in West London as you can see. I've been brought up and lived here for the past seven years. Thinking about my previous area, which was Fulham in South West I loved it there because there was more children about and my primary school was right down the road 'Langford Primary School'. I had the best times of my life there and met so many people which I'm happy about but now in west london this is where i grew up and became who I am today.

Meee.

My name is Daniella Esezobor. Im 16 years old, I used the picture of my country 'Nigeria', as It has many representations of me, this is merely by the fact that this is my background. I once visited when I was young, and had one of the best times, just being around all my family and roots was nice. :)
